The Clinical Research Reception is located on the 3rd floor of Læknagarður.
Service
The project manager at the reception provides the researchers with a service to assist them with their clinical research. This includes:
- Communicate with participants
- Send and receive data
- Greet and welcome participants to the research
- Take care of blood sampling and appropriate handling of research samples
Facilities
- A reception and a waiting area for research participants
- A meeting room with a computer and recording equipment
- A dental chair, which is connected to electricity, water, air, and a suction (vacuum) system.
- An examination table, blood pressure monitor, weighing scale, height measuring scale, refrigerator, freezer
- Concentration area with three tables and chairs
