Lower limb function after Achilles tendon rupture

This is a collaboration with Gothenburg University, where we collected biomechanical data during functional activities as well as using ultrasound to register the length of the Achilles tendon bilaterally. The aim of the study is to evaluate inter-limb biomechanical differences after unilateral Achilles tendon rupture, investigating proximal compensatory mechanisms and the possible influence of tendon length, exertion/fatigue, and fear of re-injury during single limb tasks.
