Perioperative Outcomes Research Group

This research group created the Icelandic Perioperative Database that can be utilized to study and patient-,procedural and pharmacological variables associated with outcomes of surgery. Particular focus of the group has been acute kidney injury and pre-and postoperative use of medications by patient at increased procedural risk due to frailty and underlying comorbidities.
